The 2018/2019 School Year begins...
Remember it is World Book Day on Thursday (1st March). Don't forget your £1 if you are dressing as a character from a book.
Stay safe and enjoy the half-term holiday. Remember school reopens on Monday 26th February.
Tamin, our year 6 journalist, reports on some health and safety issues.
School will be open as normal on Thursday 3rd May as it is not being used as a polling station this year. However, school will be closed on Monday 7th May for the May Day Bank Holiday.

Great News
The Attendance Trips are back after being cancelled due to the snow. Students who had less than three absences between September and 22nd December were able to go to the Cinema this time.
Easter Rule Change
This term, because the school has had to pay extra money for every child that goes to the Cinema, we have to work harder at coming to school. From now on, two absences is the maximum number you will be allowed to go on the trip.
KS1 recently had their Enabling Enterprise Challenge Day. They were set the task of designing a new form of transport. Click the following link to find out how they got on: http://enablingenterprise.org/archives/24332
School closed Monday 4th June until June 8th due to flooding and following severe damage and Health and Safety issues. We will keep you posted as we know more.
As a result of the blanket closure of all council run schools, Grendon will be closed to all students and staff on Friday 2nd March. Stay safe and stay warm!
