Letters from the local MP

Children have been in contact with our local MP.

Everlise and Lennon, two of our School Captains, wrote to the local MP, Alistair Carns, about littering and introducing a deposit return scheme for empty containers.

Both children received a letter back that thanked them for their work in the local area, alongside other children from Grendon, and answered a number of questions the children had. They have also been invited to attend the House of Commons for Prime Minister's Questions at a date in the future.

Both letters can be downloaded and read below.

A big well done to both the School Captains and all the children at Grendon for taking such an interest in the local environment and seeking to promote change in the area.
