We are all so excited to welcome you back for the start of a brand new year at Grendon Primary. We'd also like to say a special welcome to all the children who will be coming to Grendon for the first time, you're going to love it!

We already have lots and lots of exciting plans for the year ahead and can't wait to see you all demonstrating your WE CAN attitude towards everything we do.

However, we also recognise that starting the new year can be a little scary after a long holiday, or for the first time. Don't worry! We are all going to help each other settle in and make sure everyone feels happy and ready to learn.

We also have new start and finish times! We now open our gates at 8.40 to allow children to come in when they are ready, and registration is at 8.50. Don't be late! School now finishes at 3.20.

This week Reception will be following their own times as part of their induction (for details see HERE). For everyone else we will start using the new times immediately.

On the very first day, don't worry too much about working out where to go, as teachers will direct you. We are all going to sit in the hall for a Welcome Assembly before we go to our new classes with our teachers.
